DANCE And Dance had his final work out this morning ahead of his intended run in the Group 3 Diomed Stakes at Epsom on Friday, June 1.
The son of Royal Applause worked on the Cambridge Road Poly-track and trainer Ed Vaughan was very pleased with what he saw.
Ed has targeted the mile contest since his return from a luckless trip to Dubai earlier this spring.
He said: “I was very pleased with his work and his preparation has gone very smoothly. This race has been the target since Dubai and he has been training well at home and I am very happy.
“He won a handicap at the track last year – in a time two seconds faster than the Diomed – so we know he likes the track and it should be good racing ground on the first day.”
