TRAINER Ed Vaughan has declared Dance And Dance for a mile Listed race at York on Saturday, June 16.
The son of Royal Applause made a promising reappearance when second in the Diomed Stakes at Epsom two weeks ago.
Ed has been pleased with him since that assignment and is hopeful he can revert to winning ways on Saturday.
He said: “He has come out of the Epsom race in great form. I was delighted with his run there where he came from a fair way back.
“He worked under Luke Morris on long hill yesterday and he went well and Luke was very happy with him.
“There are only six runners which is a bit of a concern as there may not be much pace on. But York is a fair track with a long straight so if we have to commit a bit out then we will.”
Later in the afternoon, Whitby Jet lines up in a 1m2f handicap on the same card.
Ed added: “I hope it isn’t too soft for his as he is in great form. We don’t do much work with him but he’s really fresh and well and will hopefully run a solid race.”
