DANCE And Dance regained the winning thread with a comfortable success in a mile conditions race at Doncaster on Thursday, July 19.
The son of Royal Applause had disappointed on his last start at York but put that effort behind him and looked back to his best under William Buick.
Buick settled him towards the rear of the field before making smooth headway to join the leaders two furlongs from home.
He sent him to the front at the furlong marker and he scooted clear to beat Bridgefield by three lengths.
Ed said: “We blamed the ground at York but I don’t think he was himself and we freshened him up after that as he was a bit flat.
“I was delighted with his win yesterday especially the way he did it.
“He’s in races in Ireland and the Arlington Million over a mile and a quarter and there is also the Woodbine Mile which he was unlucky in last year.
“If he went there he would run in the Sovereign Stakes at Salisbury like last year when he was second to Side Glance.”
